Top Ten Books on my Spring 2020 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. More information here.

My dreaded seasonal TBR...but not really. When I went through my old ones, I was surprised at how many books I had actually finished off of my quarterly TBRs. The following books come from 9 TBRs and when I think of it that way...it's not so bad! I included what previous TBRs these books were on. I'm not adding anything new. I feel like at this point, I need to get around to reading these books. The problem comes with the fact that some of these are physical books that I just packed up because we are moving in a month. I can still access the ones with asterisks.

February Book Haul

FebruaryBook Haul | Check out the books I hauled this month #bookhaul

I did slightly better than last month's haul of 11 books with 8 books this month (2 being the same book just in different formats). I went to Books-a-Million trying to hunt down some books for my husband for Valentine's Day and wound up finding Lair of Dreams and A Curse So Dark and Lonely for cheaper than the price of one hardcover together. I couldn't pass that up. I received All the Stars and Teeth from Owlcrate (my first box in a long while) and I'm getting the March box too :) This month I spent $8.97 (I always classify Owlcrate as a gift, so it's not included in my totals) and saved $95.87 by borrowing from my library and receiving an ARC.

March TBR & Monthly Challenge

Monthly TBR and Challenge Update | The post where I share what I plan to read and how badly I'm doing on my yearly reading challenges :)

February was a hard reading month, which doesn't surprise me at all. I got to the point where I was so tired, I would fall asleep while holding onto my Kindle, but never having actually gotten around to opening it to start reading. I have always been that person who had trouble sleeping and then read for hours in bed before finally zonking. We are in the midst of putting our house on the market, so all our time and energy has been directed there. My goals for March are to try and finish my current reads (Lab Partners and Ace of Shades) and then to maybe get around to reading Only, which comes out in March. Lab and Only are Netgalley books, Ace is an Owlcrate book.

My Tentative TBR for March:
  • Lab Partners by Mora Montgomery
  • Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody
  • Only Mostly Devastated by Sophie Gonzalez

2020 READING CHALLENGES: should be at 16%
Goodreads Challenge: 10/50 books - 20% AHEAD!
Series Challenge: 0/10 series - 0% BEHIND!
Netgalley Challenge: 2/12 books - 16% ON SCHEDULE!
Owlcrate Challenge: 0/12 books - 0%  BEHIND!
Owlcrate Jr Challenge: 0/6 books - 0% BEHIND!

What are you planning on reading in March?
