Synopsis:
What’s Stephanie up to now?
Her Uncle Fred has disappeared. A body turns up in a garbage bag. She’s got a nasty bookie following her around town. Grandma Mazur has her hands on the stun gun. Stephanie can’t keep a car for more than forty-eight hours. Two men are trying to get her into bed. She has nothing to wear to the Mafia wedding. And there’s an angry little man (don’t call him a dwarf!) who won’t leave her apartment.
My Thoughts:
Evanovich is CRAY. I cannot believe she ended the book like she did - I have many books to read this month and all I want to do is pick up the next Stephanie Plum book.
As far as the bounty/crime part of the book goes, I was going to give the book 4 stars. I wasn't a fan of the whole Uncle Fred gone missing story. But because of the new love triangle that seems to be going on, it gets 4.5 stars. Plus more Lula and Grandma Mazur, plus the new little friend, Briggs.
Throw in cars getting blown up and stolen, that slimy Terry Gilman, a bookie who won't stop following Stephanie, and Ramirez being released on parole...woo-wee! What a story :)
