So in my last two labor & delivery experiences, I don't really remember what I brought, what was useful, and what wasn't useful. I have read up what others suggest and what baby sites suggest and made my own list. This is what I brought to the hospital:

The Odds 'n Ends Essentials for Baby
It's been since March and I'm just now getting this last essentials for baby post up. This is mostly geared towards new moms-to-be. I still have a Hospital Bag Essentials post planned (that I need to finish) and here in a month, I'll be posting an update on things I've found that have made my life as a mom to a baby easier.
So I've discussed the two major essentials lists: feeding and sleeptime. Now it's time for everything else!

Baby Mason: Five Months
If this little guy could just stop growing so fast...that would be amazing. Soon he's going to be crawling and getting teeth and *cries* He's not really much for cuddling these days either, so that just makes me even more sad.
Look at this little face. I mean, seriously, just look at it!?! :) I could just look at 'im all day long. He's perfect!

Book Review: Buzz Books 2015: Young Adult Fall/Winter
PublishersLunch comes out with these collections a few times a year that have 20 excerpts for upcoming titles. This is my second time requesting the YA edition. I love getting a sneak peek at books I may or may not be excited to read and then deciding if I'm going to read them or not. I read 19 of the 20 books in this collection and removed 2 books from my TBR because of the collection.
I received a free copy of Buzz Books 2015: Young Adult Fall/Winter from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review
The Thing About Jellyfish by Ali Benjamin [2 stars]
Synopsis: After her best friend dies in a drowning accident, Suzy is convinced that the true cause of the tragedy was a rare jellyfish sting. Retreating into a silent world of imagination, she crafts a plan to prove her theory--even if it means traveling the globe, alone. Suzy's achingly heartfelt journey explores life, death, the astonishing wonder of the universe...and the potential for love and hope right next door.
I just didn't have any interest in this book before, during, or after reading it.

Books I Read in June
As I said in my TBR post, I'm slacking still. I'm 7 books behind on my yearly challenge and it's making me a little nutso. Here's to July being a better reading month!
Captive by Aimee Carter - 4 stars (finished 6/11)
This is the second book in the Blackcoat Rebellion series. I totally spaced on writing a review when I finished, so remembering what I wanted to say is hard as all get out. Kitty is now in Elsewhere and bizarre things are happening. Quite a few characters die and some big secrets are revealed. Kitty is a little frustrating in this book, but I think a lot of that is the confusion of being in Elsewhere and her reacting to betrayals and deaths.
