Alright, here it is: my first haul of 2022. I stated in last month's haul how I wanted to haul more wisely. I actually spent no money on books this month - 2 Amazon books were free, 2 Netgalley books, and 1 Library book. I have only read 1 so far.

February 2022 TBR + Challenge Update

My favorite blurb: In 2022, I'm continuing to participate in the Words & Whimsy Reading Challenge (new challenge each month - February is "We're All Mad Here" theme). You sign up and are split into teams and finish books for points. They also have a mini game, photo challenge, and charity challenge to get points for your team as well. I've been doing it for almost 2 years and I really love it. The community is great and the challenge of getting points is also great - for my competitive nature!

In January, I wasn't sure if I was going to finish criteria (8 books) and then I read 10 books. And surprisingly only 3 were audio books. I do not know how I managed this with the tax stuff for working being kind of all-consuming. My beginning of the year has been Burned Out City.

Looking ahead to February, even though it's a short month...for some reason, I decided to read some thick books and my TBR is slightly bigger (page count wise) than January's. However, I did finish most of my January TBR + 2 other books, so I think I can do it. Hopefully. :)

I really liked this prompt in my title last year and it wasn't on the docket for 2022, so I'm twisting this week's 2021 Releases I Was Excited About But Didn't Read to make it the Top Ten-ish Books I Meant to Read in 2021 - but didn't get to. I had 30 books on this list last year and was hoping to do better at reading books on my TBRs in 2021 and I did! I only have 12 books on the list! I'm going to try and update this list like I did with last year's as well.

Series 2022 Tracker

Here is the list of books I'm currently reading that are part of a series. I'm starting out in the middle of 54 series and I am hoping to get (and keep) that number under 40 in 2022. 35 of the 54 are completed series and I don't have the excuse of waiting on the next release to finish it. 12 of these series will take priority because there is only 1 book remaining before I finish the series :) I'm trying to make more of an effort to not start series unless all the books are out, but that doesn't always happen with some of the shiny new releases.
