Silence [Review]

Silence (Hush, Hush, #3)

Stats:
#3 in series
438 pages [Hardcover]
Published 14 Oct 2011

Synopsis:
The noise between Patch and Nora is gone. They've overcome the secrets riddled in Patch's dark past...bridged two irreconcilable worlds...faced heart-wrenching tests of betrayal, loyalty and trust...and all for a love that will transcend the boundary between heaven and earth. Armed with nothing but their absolute faith in one another, Patch and Nora enter a desperate fight to stop a villain who holds the power to shatter everything they've worked for--and their love--forever.

My Thoughts:
...and we start right where we left off. Hank Millar finds Patch & Nora. Basically, he keeps Nora hostage for 3 months and then wipes her memory clean from the point before she met Patch up until her release from being kidnapped.

The way Fitzpatrick sets the plot up is just amazing to me. I love her style of writing. I love how the story unfolds. I was gritting my teeth through parts of it, so angry at Hank. I was biting my lips hoping that Nora would remember SOMETHING. Fitzpatrick is just extraordinary.

I guess many people have expressed distaste for her writing a 4th book in the series. If you go to the GR page, you'll find many reviews that are so blatantly rude and obviously not very well-supported in intelligence, because they found the need to curse every other word. I'm all for cursing...but if you are trying to get a point across, it just makes you look dumb. I could clearly see why Fitzpatrick would write a 4th book and considering how much I loved the first 3, I'm glad there will be a 4th. Who cares if she's making money for it? She's a published author, that's her JOB, of course she's going to make money. If she leaves a book open for a sequel to it, then she's probably going to write another one. If that bothers you, don't read it. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets so wrapped up into a series that you get mad at characters!! :) Sounds like you really like this series! I hate when people write rude, ignorant reviews. You can not like a story and be polite about it.

Hope you have a great weekend!
:)
