Despite having a slow start yesterday and babysitting for a little while, I was able to read 350 pages and finish City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare - review will be up tomorrow.
I started Jane Was Here this morning, but after 30 pages I just couldn't read anymore of it. It's just not for me. So now I have to decide whether I go with Delirium or City of Lost Souls. Choices, choices. What would you all recommend?
Today's challenge is hosted by Jacinda of The Reading Housewives {here}
It's all about books & shoes. I just got a new pair on Wednesday and they reminded me of Cassandra Clare's character Isabelle in the Mortal Instrument series - which I have been reading for the last 2 weeks! How fitting :)
And just a little update on my goals:
- I want to read 1 book a day or at least 1/2 a book each day of the readathon. Day 1: 350 pg (finished 1 book); Day 2: 513 pg (finished 1 book); Day 3: 52 pages; Day 4: 350 pages (finished 1 book).
- I want to participate in one Twitter chat. - Today's is at 2pm EST. I will be present! woo!
- I want to finish all of my April books and half of my May books. - Done with April...now I gotta get going on my May books. There are 7, I've read 1.
Jane Was Here by Sarah Kerochan (April)City of Glass by Cassandra Clare (April)City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare (April)- City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare (May)
