Top Ten Books on my Spring 2019 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. More information here.

For me, I always think of Mar, Apr, and May being the spring months even though by mid-May, it's full blown summer in Tennessee. So these are the books I hope to read in the next three months. The asterisks note if the book was on a previous seasonal TBR.

  1. Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor - technically three books, but I'm doing the DoSaB readalong and will finally, FINALLY get around to the third book. I will!
  2. Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett - I want to read my newer Netgalley books that will be released somewhere in the spring. This one comes out in April.
  3. There's Something About Sweetie by Sandhya Menon - Another Netgalley book and it's also the conclusion to a trilogy, so that's a huge plus!
  4. Ask Me Anything by Molly E. Lee - This is my most recent Netgalley book and one that sounds really interesting.
  5. Nevernight* by Jay Kristoff - At this point, this book has probably been on more TBRs than not. I started it last February and set it down, much like I did The Cruel Prince. I read The Cruel Prince this month and loved it so much (even though I wasn't sucked in back when I started it). So I have high hopes that now that I'm not in a slump, I will fly through Nevernight. It's also the next book in the long list of ones I started but put down.
  6. Furthermore* by Tahereh Mafi - I was almost halfway through this book when I set it down, so I would like to finish it.
  7. Shadow of the Fox* by Julie Kagawa - I'm waiting on the audiobook for this one from my library because I am struggling through it. It's not that it's bad or anything but it is very dense. I have a hardcover edition of it and an ebook through Netgalley.
  8. The Hazel Wood* by Melissa Albert - This is my oldest Owlcrate book, so it's kind of the next on my list to finish.
  9. Sky in the Deep* by Adrienne Young - I was so excited for this book when I found out about it. I read an excerpt and got even more hyped. I have a gorgeous ARC and a signed Owlcrate hardcover edition, but still haven't picked it up.
  10. Ace of Shades* by Amanda Foody - After The Hazel Wood, this will be my next oldest Owlcrate book. I believe it's also next on my list after Nevernight for books I started and then put down.

What books are on your spring TBR?
