Top Ten Series I Don't Plan to Finish
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. More information here.
I am in the middle of entirely too many series. Back in 2011 when I joined Goodreads, I feel like a boom of Young Adult happened and I read so many first books in unfinished series. I have a whole list of series I'm in the middle of reading here. Over the past few months, I've started to weed out series I know I will never finish. Whether it be that the last books in a humoungus series have been poorly written or just meh OR I have lost interest in the story itself, these are the series I don't plan on finishing:

Top Ten Books to Read by the Pool [Summer 2018 TBR]
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. More information here.
It's time for my Summer TBR. This is mostly a loose TBR and I am still working on things I wanted to read in the winter and spring because... of course I am. I still have 8 books from my Winter TBR (I have started 1 of those). I have 9 books on my Spring TBR (I have started 3 of those). So I'm going to be doubling and tripling up some of those reads by way of adding those I have already started to this list first and foremost.

May Book Haul
Legit, I'm about to be on a book buying ban because I'm racking up books faster than I can read them. In June, I'm going to try and keep my haul 10 books or less. Wish me luck! It's the Amazon sales that kill me.

#AYearAThon [June TBR] + Relaxathon [TBR]
Each first full week of the month, a #AYearAThon readathon is held and there are
themes and challenges for each month. In the month of June, the
theme is CATCH UP/FINISH A SERIES with the challenge of reading a duology. It
runs from June 4 to 10.
I am also participating in the Creating & Co readathon called the Relaxathon. It has a group book and four other challenges. Since I participating in two readathons at the same time, I tried to find at least one book that would go for both themes. So let's talk about the books I'm reading (and I will list the Relaxathon challenges).

- Group book: Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett
- Pool/Beach Read: Love, Life, and the List by Kasie West
- Something dealing with water: Daughter of the Siren Queen by Trisha Levenseller (will also count towards the theme and challenge of #AYearathon)
- Something less than 200 pages: Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire
- Related to travel: The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
Updated on 6/8: Surprisingly enough, I have already finished one book, Starry Eyes. A whopping 432 page book. It actually can count for 4 of the 5 challenges. So I'm relaxing a little and starting on my under 200 page book today :)
Updated on 6/11: I didn't end up reading a ton during the weekend but I'm happy with what I accomplished this week - especially with family in town and two appointments!

June Monthly TBR & Challenge Updates
Last month, I wanted to keep my TBR low because I was in the middle of reading 7 books. Well, all I did was add 1 more book to that list (despite finishing 7 books in May). So I'm now currently reading 8 books and who knows if I'll finish them this month with my TBR. The Relaxathon readathon and the #AYearAThon readathon take place in the same week in June, so I have one book that counts for both and then 4 other books I will be reading for the Relaxathon. Plus my Owlcrate book.
My Tentative TBR for June:
- Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young
- Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett
- Love, Life, & the List by Kasie West
- Daughter of the Siren Queen by Trisha Levenseller
- Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire
- The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
